West Side Blooms flower farm

Our Story

Rooted inPassion

West Side Blooms began as a dream in a small backyard garden. What started with a handful of dahlia tubers has grown into acres of vibrant blooms, each one tended with care and harvested at the peak of perfection.

We believe flowers should tell a story—of the season, of the soil, of the hands that grew them. Every bouquet we create carries a piece of our farm's heart directly to yours.

Located in Alaska's beautiful Mat-Su Valley, we're blessed with long summer days that produce some of the most vibrant, long-lasting blooms you'll find anywhere. Our growing season may be short, but we make every day count.

What We Believe

Our Values

Sustainably Grown

We use organic practices, minimal plastic, and work with nature rather than against it. Our flowers are grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers.

Locally Rooted

Everything we sell is grown right here on our farm. We believe in supporting our local community and reducing the environmental impact of shipping flowers across the country.

Seasonally Inspired

We celebrate what's blooming now rather than forcing flowers out of season. This means fresher, longer-lasting blooms and a more authentic connection to nature's rhythms.

Our Growing Season

Alaska's unique climate gives us nearly 20 hours of daylight in summer, producing flowers with incredible color intensity and vase life. Our growing season runs from May through September, with peak blooms from June through August.
